How do you determine the cost of eye lift surgery?
A. The cost of eye lift surgery depends on the extent of your surgery. If you are having surgery on your upper or lower lids alone or if you are having them operated on both together, the price varies. Surgery on both upper and lower lids costs less than having them done individually at different times. Generally, eye lift surgery is more expensive if it is done in a hospital as compared to our Joint Commission approved surgery facility. There are many factors involved in determining cost. Until you are examined by Dr. Prasad, it is virtually impossible to estimate the cost. Individual factors such as the extent of aging of the eyes, the quality of the skin, the ethnic background of the patient in order to predict healing abilities, the anatomy of the lids and the skull, the general habits of the patient in terms of sun exposure, diet, and exercise, and the underlying medical condition of the patient are just some of the major factors that must be considered when determining the time and cost of the procedure.
